We are constantly striving for new ways to improve and overcome obstacles for our customers. This is the Clair Hair commitment.
In the interest in serving our customers we have General and a Limited return policy. Please understand that once you returned a product that we will not restock the item due to hygiene and other issues that prevent Clairhair.com from providing you with product with confidence. These and other interests in protecting our customers have help form our commitment.
All return and exchange are subject to a restocking fee of 20-50% of the original price. *
General Policy
If you are returning a product you are not satisfied with, you must notify our customer service department on www.clairhair.com. This is to be done in the (RMA) Return Merchandise Authorization page and it can only be done online. You can not process your return any other way. We are solely an online company and so in order to return any product you must acquire the proper RMA number.
Once you have been approved and have received your RMA number you have 14 days to send the product back to us. If you do not do this promptly your RMA number WILL EXPIRE! And your RMA number will not be reissued.
If you send the product back without the proper RMA number the item(s) will be shipped back to you at your own expense.
RMA processing times take 2-5 business days and will be processed accordingly providing that the following criteria have been met:
1. All tags and inside packaging is returned (the original packaging)
2. There is no damage to the returning product caused by the customer or the carrier.
3. The return has proper authorization number displayed on the package and is returned with in the allotted time period or time approved by customer service.
If you are returning a product you the customer has to check and see if the product is returnable. Certain items that can be purchased on the site are not eligible for a return.
If you meet all criteria for the RMA you can be refunded for the product amount upon request. You will be refunded less any discounts, shipping cost(s), and the restocking fee.
It takes 2 business days to process your refund and, an additional 2-5 business day for the monies to reflect into your account.
All requests for an exchange still constitute as a RMA and must be done online.
All clearance items are non-returnable. All sale(s) of clearance items are final.
All sale and promotional item(s) are eligible for EXCHANGE ONLY (store credit if exchange is not requested). Return policy still applies to this exchange. You will be responsible for the shipping and handling cost of the exchange product (flat rate of $6.99 for shipping and handling).
On all exchanges you will pay an additional shipping fee $6.99. This shipping fee applies to all exchanges regardless of the original product total. If you received free shipping from the original product or order, the replacement product or order is still subject to a reshipping fee.
Hair Return / Exchange Policy
For Wigs, half wigs, ponytail, request must be made within 7 days of receiving your order.
For weave and braid extension request must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.
Clair Hair understands that it may be inevitable to wear a wig or half-wigs to "check it out" It is ultimately on Clairhair.com to determine whether the returned item(s) is acceptable or not.
Electric Return Policy
For All electrical appliances, request must be made within 7 days of receiving your order.
All electrical appliances carry a full manufacturer’s warranty. All manufacturer warranties will be passed on to the customer.
Nail / Chemical / Cosmetic Return Policy
For All nail, chemical and cosmetic items request must be made within 3 days of receiving your order.
Any Cosmetic item that is found defective or damaged must be reported to Clairhair.com immediately within 3 days by contacting our customer service.
Accessory Return Policy
For accessory items request must be made within 7 days of receiving your order.
If you have received a damaged/ missing item you must notify Clairhair.com with 3 days. This must be done through customer service.
Restocking Fee
When your return items are not in original condition following restocking charge will apply.
Rates
1. 20% - Missing item parts (i.e. item tag, inside packaging, etc.)
2. 30% - Damage item (i.e. item in wrong shape or form, item shipped out in small box, etc.)
3. 40% - Smell (perfume or sweat smell). Missing package (missing paper container, plastic bag, etc)
4. 50% or greater- Clarihair.com will determine a suitable restocking fee that is damaged to this extent. This is rarely applied.
Defective Policy
If you have received a defective product you must contact our customer service department within 10 days of the receiving the product. Note* (We strongly recommend that you examine the product upon receipt.)
Once we receive defective the item(s) our return department will inspect all item(s) and if the item(s), is found defective we will either reship out a new item or issue you credit back to your original account. However if our return department finds any item(s) damaged due to customer’s fault then we will charge the appropriate restocking fee and/or send the item back to customer.
Limited Return Policy
All items marked or other wise on clairhair.com is subject to Clairhair.com’s limited return policy. All items that fall in this category are subject to a mandatory minimum 50% restocking fee and eligible for either exchange or in store credit. All requests for return authorization must be made online and within 7 days of delivery. By purchasing from Clairhair.com you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by these term and conditions. Any product that is not marked on clairhair.com but is listed in this category will be subject to this policy. Clairhair.com reserves all rights to change any term(s) and condition(s) of this policy without notice to its customer base as such please check all policies periodically.
